Prior to entering full-time Ministry, Pastor Mike worked as an Industrial Sales Representative and Manager for 11 years. He managed OEM Master Distributors in several States. Interestingly, Mike’s work took him to some very exciting and engaging places such as, chicken hatcheries, underground mushroom farms, meat packing plant kill floors, candy bar and cookie manufacturers, Federal Penitentiaries, NFL stadiums, river barges, whiskey distilleries, cigarette manufacturers, and Federal Government installations---to name a few!
The Lord called Mike to full-time Ministry in 1995 as a Young Adult Minister and Teaching Pastor at a large church in Western, PA. In 1996, Pastor Mike took a Young Adult Ministry that he began in the South Hills of Pittsburgh to the University Campuses in Oakland and surrounding communities. Chi Alpha Campus Ministries was born. Pastor Mike was the President of Chi Alpha for 17 years.
In the above capacity, Mike served as Chair of the University of Pittsburgh Association of Chaplains four times---and held other similar Offices for many years. He also served as Chair and Secretary of the Carnegie Mellon Interfaith Council and was the Founder and Chair of the Robert Morris University Interfaith Association. In addition to Pitt, CMU, and RMU, Pastor Mike has also been involved with the Campus Ministries at Carlow, Point Park, and Seton Hill Universities---among others.
In addition to Pastor Mike’s experience administratively, he is perhaps best known for his strengths in the areas of Theology, Preaching, Teaching, Apologetics, Outreach Ministries, and Counseling. Pastor Mike has taught all over the tri-state area. He has trained Missionaries, Pastors, and Teachers, from various denominations in the areas of Apologetics, Counseling, Fund-Raising, and Campus Ministry.
Outreach has always been a huge part of Pastor Mike’s Ministry. He strongly holds to the belief that a person’s faith is solidified through ministry to the “least of the these.” During Pastor Mike’s tenure with Chi Alpha, he implemented the following outreach ministries: Homeless Ministry, Inner-City and After-School Tutoring, Nursing Home Ministry, Short-Term Missionary Trips, Service Retreats, and Children’s Hospital Ministries, among others.
Pastor Mike’s vision, along with the other Abiding Grace Church Elders, is to see AGC become a community-oriented, Gospel-centered Body of Believers, who genuinely delight in the One True God, as He has revealed Himself in the Bible.
When Pastor Mike isn’t busy “doing ministry,” you can typically find his face in a book. He loves to read everything from Theology and Philosophy---to Literary Biography and Russian History. He is also an avid Winston Churchill aficionado and a Fountain Pen collector. More than anything however, Pastor Mike loves to spend time with his family. He and his wife of 34 years (Amy), have two grown sons (Zac & Ryan) and six wonderful grandchildren.

Scott is serving at Abiding Grace Church as an Elder, helping to oversee various ministries. Scott is a Mechanical Engineer working in the Mass Transportation Industry. He has Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
Scott has a heart for the Gospel. He desires for those who have not heard the Good News, to hear it and put their faith in Christ---ultimately living their lives to glorify God. He is excited to be involved with a God-centered, Gospel-preaching Church in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
Scott has been involved in Youth Ministry and/or Church leadership for most of his adult life. When he is not serving at AGC he can be found helping with his daughter's gymnastics booster organization, building sets for high school musicals, tagging along for one of his son's scouting adventures, or training for a marathon.

Born in September 1973 and born again by the Spirit of God during the Summer of 2000, Steve is the husband of Jennifer and proud father of Leah and Luke. In his day job, Steve is an Engineering Manager at the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory (West Mifflin, PA), and in his “spare” time, he coaches a couple of sports teams and teaches Calculus at Cornerstone Christian Preparatory Academy.
Since his rebirth, Steve has been gripped by the glory of God as revealed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God: eternal in His existence, sinless in His Incarnation, crucified for sinners, resurrected from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of God the Father.
It is Steve’s joy to serve the Members of Abiding Grace Church (AGC) as an Elder, and this joy is most clearly derived from a teaching and preaching ministry wherein AGC Members get a deeper, more thorough understanding of “how the Bible all fits together” and of the superiority of the New Covenant.
Steve loves studying Theology. When he’s not doing that or any of the above, you can typically find him tutoring students in front of a white board in his basement, or taking advantage of a Dunkin’ Donuts or Chipotle in our area.
